Pizza is my kryptonite! A dream come true for me would be eating pizza every night. I took my pizza obsession on the road recently by taking a pizza tour in NYC. However, eating pizza every day is not great for my waistline. I’m still working hard to lose that last 30 lbs, and that means I need to be careful with my meal options. I have been on a hunt for a healthy alternative to traditional pizza. This hunt led me to research cauliflower pizza crusts. At first, I thought I’d try and make my own cauliflower pizza crust. I reviewed countless cauliflower crust recipes and soon realized making my own crust was going to be too complicated! I wanted to make sure my pizza tasted as good as the pizza I love to order from my favorite delivery services.
The Perfect Cauliflower Pizza Crust
Locating a frozen cauliflower crust that I could easily purchase proved almost as complex! In the end, I located a Caulipower brand pizza crust at my local Publix store. The crust was thin and incredibly soft. I topped the pizza with homemade pizza sauce and cheese. D

After the pizza baked for twenty minutes, it was ready to serve. I’ll be honest, I was concerned that the cauliflower crust would taste terrible. But, I was wrong! It was fantastic and I cannot wait to make a pesto version of this pizza. The Caulipower company has met their goal of creating tasty and affordable alternatives to highly-processed food. I’m officially a fan! I can’t wait to try their cauliflower tortillas later this year. I can only imagine how good tacos will taste on those tortillas! And, I’m excited to try using their Caulipower flower in my baking this year!
What’s your favorite healthy food swap? Have you tried cauliflower pizza crust? Do you make your own or buy it frozen?
