Christmas in July: Planning Christmas 2019

We’re halfway through the summer season, and 153 days away from Christmas! Can you believe it? I’ve been catching up on all the Christmas in July Hallmark films, and store sales. f you’re a holiday hostess like myself, you know that the Christmas in July season is the best time to finalize all your party dates and themes. Planning early helps alleviate stress during the holiday season, and helps you save money. So, get out there and plan!

I’m re-sharing my three favorite holiday parties on the blog today to get us all into planning mode!

Girl’s Cookie Exchange

My cookie exchange is one of my favorite events of the year! I love bringing my girls together for a girl’s night in. Every year, I try to enhance the event and I’ve got big plans for this year’s exchange!!!!

I’ve picked the date, and now I need to order the trophies and invitations.

Family & Friends Christmas Party

We partied hard at last year’s Rudolph themed party! I’m not sure how we will top last year’s theme. This year, I’ve been convinced to pursue an unorthodox theme… that will involve the Wet Bandits. I’m not sure how I feel about this one, but I know a few of our guests are beyond ready for it!

Neighborhood Caroling

My neighbor asked me last minute to co-host a Neighborhood Caroling party with her, and while I don’t love last-minute parties… this one was a fabulous way to get to know our neighbors and spread some holiday cheer.

We’ll definitely be doing this one again! I’ve put a call into a friend at the North Pole and I’m hoping he’ll make an appearance.

All this reminiscing has me realizing just how far behind I am on planning Christmas 2019! Yikes!! It’s time to get my planning on.

Pro Tip: This is a great time to start planning your festive holiday attire!
