It isn’t Christmas around my house until I make these simple Santa Brownie Bites. Despite my best efforts, I have never been able to bake a brownie! I know, it’s hard to believe, but it is the truth. Ask anyone who knows me. Even though I’m unable to make brownies on my own, I still love them, but I save my loved ones from tummy aches by buying the chocolate treat from the local grocery store.
One quick word of caution about these Santa-worthy brownie bites, be sure to make them thirty minutes before your party begins. My experience is that the strawberries only stay in place for an hour to two hours.
Santa Brownie Bites
Ingredients:
Brownie Bites (Store bought or homemade)
Icing
Strawberries (Slice the tops off of each berry.)
Directions:
- Ice each brownie bite with a small circle of icing. You want just enough icing for the strawberry to stay in place and for the icing to look like the brim of Santa’s hat.
- Place a strawberry on top of the brownie bite so that it looks just similar to Santa’s hat.
- Serve. Be sure to refrigerate any leftovers.
