In some ways, I’ve never grown-up. Halloween brings out the kid in me, and I spend too much time and money planning out my costumes every year. Sometimes, the finished product turns out great, and sometimes my outfits fall flat. But no matter what, every year Clark and I go out on the town dressed in coordinating costumes.
This year, we didn’t try on our costumes in advance! His original suit was too small, and no amount of safety pins was going to make it fit. Not to mention he wasn’t a fan of his hat! We had to back to the drawing board with two hours to go before our event at PetSmart.
Luckily, our collection of costumes allowed us a few options, and we (I) opted for our Mickey and Minnie costumes. We’d never worn them, and I’d already applied red lipstick!
Minnie Mouse Dress: Torrid (This year’s version is similar to mine). I added a black cardigan to the dress for the fall weather.
Sequin Ears and Gloves: Spirit Halloween
You can find Clark’s Mickey costume HERE. We had a blast this afternoon, and Clark came home with a bucket full of treats and a special treat for his next spa treatment.
