Fractured Prune- Surf City, NC * River City Belle

Donuts are a must for our vacations, well donuts and naps. As soon as we booked our summer vacation in Surf City, NC we immediately took to looking up donut locations to explore.

There were only a few donut shops on the island, so it made our choice simple. On a sleepy Sunday, we stumbled into Fractured Prune. A unique and delicious donut shop that makes every donut to order! Yes, you read that correctly… made to order! As these the warnings said, thee are habit forming.

We ordered a dozen donuts and spent the next two days sampling each flavor. And, they were incredible! If you are in Surf City, NC… you have to try them out.
