A dear friend was expecting a baby boy a few years back, and I couldn’t resist making this infant turkey hat for her little one. The pattern was easy to follow and was my first attempt at using double pointed needles.
I ordered the brown yarn from Red Heart’s baby line and then used scraps from other projects for the feathers, beak, and waddle. The only alteration I made to the patter was that I opted to stuff the feathers so they would stick up on their own.

Infant Turkey Hat
I thought this adorable hat was perfect for baby to wear at his first Thanksgiving celebration. I’m slightly tempted to adapt the pattern to fit me! Maybe I’ll next year.
