National Toasted Marshmallow Day: S’mores

The crisp air of fall has arrived, I’m not ready to let go of summer but I am making the most of it! Fall calls for campfires, fire pits, and s’mores! S’mores are the perfect fall dessert, and typically they are made in the great outdoors. But, they make a scrumptious inside dessert too.

A few years ago, my parents gifted me with this fabulous Hershey’s S’mores Maker that Jerad and I use to keep the S’mores coming all year long!

Don’t have one your own indoor S’Mores maker? Never fear, my friends at Wayfair have this fabulous Electric Stainless Steel S’mores Maker by Nostalgia.

Indoor s’mores taste just as good as outdoor/fire pit s’mores, the sterno heat still toasts the marshmallows! Here are our two favorite s’mores desserts.

The Traditional

The traditional s’more is a classic. It boasts chocolate, marshmallows and graham crackers. You can’t go wrong with serving the traditional to guests.

The White Out

The White Out is a variation of the traditional and my favorite s’more of all time! Simply substitute the chocolate bars with the white chocolate bar. I promise you these s’mores will be a crowd pleaser.

Do you have a favorite version of s’mores?

Pro-Tip: You can also toast marshmallows in the microwave! Yes, I said the microwave! My husband just recently did this and raved about the results.
