This fall, I traveled to New York City. On my to-do list, dinner in the sky at the top of One World Observatory. I made early dinner reservations, and we rushed to the 9/11 Memorial as soon as we checked into our hotel.

The first thing you need to know about dining at OneDine is that you need a reservation AND Observatory tickets. There is a cafe at the top of the One World Observatory where you can grab food, but you can’t sit. Seriously, you have to stand and eat your food. Who wants to do that?

Observatory tickets will set you back $34 a ticket and dinner will set you back about $75 for two. The food isn’t spectacular, but the view is AMAZING! And, ultimately that’s what your paying for when you purchase your meal. We did tour around the observatory before our reservation, and the tour is officially on my must list for visits to New York. But, next time I’ll probably skip dinner and just order dessert.
I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and we ordered the Creme Brulee for dessert. The Creme Brulee was terrific; the sandwich was nothing to write home about.

Where’s your favorite place to eat in the City? I’m always looking for suggestions.
