Quick & Easy Taco Dip

I wish I could take credit for this recipe because it is literally amazing! Yes, literally. The dip could not be easier to make and I rarely have leftovers of it after a party. Check out the source recipe by clicking HERE.  I make one change from the source recipe when I make this, I use Rotel canned tomatoes that I mix into the cream cheese and sour cream mixture. The source recipe adds fresh tomatoes to the top of the cream cheese mixture as a garnish.

I’ve made this recipe at least ten times, and every time I make this dip I double the recipe.

Ingredients:

1 package cream cheese (8 oz)
1 Cup sour cream (8 oz)
1 envelope taco seasoning
1 envelope French onion dip
4 Cups shredded lettuce
2 Cups shredded cheese
1 can Rotel tomatoes
Tortilla Chips

Directions:

  1. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning, French onion dip, 1.5 cups shredded cheese, and Rotel tomatoes together in a mixer. Mix well.
  2. Move cream cheese mixture into a bowl. Place shredded lettuce on top of the mixture and top with the remaining .5 cups of shredded cheese.
  3. Serve with tortilla chips.
