The only thing I love more than decorating my home for the holidays is hosting a holiday-themed celebration! But, I’m often overwhelmed by designing a tablescape. A themed table also helps set the mood for an entire holiday celebration. This holiday season, I opted for a cute, not scary Halloween tablescape. Highlighting buffalo plaid, sequins, and of course pumpkins.

Cute Not Spooky Halloween Tablescape
I started my tablescape with a simple orange table cloth from the Wayfair Basics collection. I adore the linens from Wayfair Basics collections. I’ve stocked up on a variety of colors for all my holiday celebrations. The linens (napkins and tablecloths) are made from poplin and due require you to steam the items before use. I next layered a sequin table runner over the orange tablecloth. This provided me with a simple base for my Halloween Tablescape.
Buffalo plaid is one of the biggest trends this year, I’ve been itching to incorporate into my home… and maybe my wardrobe. I found these adorable and on-trend chargers also on the Wayfair site. Aren’t they adorable?

For this setting, I used a basic white dinner plate from my own collection. You can find a similar set at any home good store. I placed the Wayfair Basic Collections napkin in the simplest fold. Check out my quick tutorial to figure out how to replicate the look.
To me, pumpkins and Halloween go hand in hand. As soon as I saw these Fiestaware pumpkin plates, I placed the order! In July! But, there is something to be said aboutChristmas in July. Did you know Fiestaware products are made in West Virginia? I love supporting American brands, especially brands that are geographically close to my family’s roots.
Rounding out the tablescape with a Sur La Table pumpkin I purchased on clearance last year for $2. For a final touch, I added candy corn themed handmade mini-quilt. Isn’t it adorable? It was a gift from my aunt.
I can’t wait to start putting this table to good use for our annual Halloween pizza night. What are your plans for Halloween?
